With the latest cardio machines – most with individual video monitors to help pass the time – and a full range of weight-training equipment, your options are open and your time is yours. Please be advised that our Fitness Center will be temporarily relocated to our Arcade Room and Library, near the existing Fitness Center, from November 14-25, 2014. The hours of operation will be 6am-7pm. Our Tennis Desk will remain open for all of your tennis, fitness class, and bike rental needs.

Meet Our Instructors
Erin Rosillo, Recreation Manager/Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer
Erin began her career with Hilton Worldwide in February 2009 as a fitness instructor and personal trainer teaching at The Citrus Club, PGA West, and La Quinta Resort and Club. She is currently The Recreation Manager and is a certified personal trainer and youth fitness trainer through the International Sports Science Association (ISSA) and a certified water fitness instructor through the United States Water Fitness Association (USWFA). Erin grew up in Southern California and was a competitive swimmer. Today she is an avid outdoor and water sports enthusiast. She is passionate about youth fitness and nutrition and is active with local youth sports in the Coachella Valley. Her specialties include aquatic fitness, sports performance, youth fitness, hiking, running, boot camp, weight loss and management, longevity training, and TRX suspension training. In her free time she joys hiking and traveling with her family.
Kris Kepler, Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer
Kris has experience working with clients of different ages and levels of fitness, from young athletes to high risk populations. Kris is certified though AFAA, TPI, and NASM. Focusing on core and muscular conditioning, as well as corrective exercise and proper nutrition, Kris is truly committed to the belief that fitness is an integral part of an active and healthy life. It’s about developing and maintaining energy, strength and flexibility so that you can handle whatever life brings you!
Ryan Douglass, Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer
Ryan is certified with the American College of Sports Medicine and has had a lifelong passion for fitness and sports training, with over eight years experience as a fitness professional including fitness instructor, personal trainer, and program design for some of the valley’s premier health facilities. Ryan is a results oriented trainer, with a passion for improving fitness, increasing stamina and developing healthy life styles by encouraging habits that are life changing. He accomplishes this through accurate and thorough assessments, then designing a fitness program based upon physical data, sports and lifestyle interests, and personal goals.
Brenda Lasarzig, Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer
Having a military background (US Coast Guard & Army) set the foundation for a life of active and healthy living, with an emphasis on strength and endurance obtained through discipline and consistency resulting in her certification as a Master Personal Trainer (Body Sculpt, Boot Camp, Circuit Training, Core Fusion, Nutrition, Peak 8, Pilates, TRX, Water Aerobics). An interest in stress reduction led to the World Yoga University and the Chopra Center, leading to teaching certifications in Ayurveda, Chanting, Meditation, Mudras, Tai Chi (Classical Ch’uan) and Yoga. She is especially skilled with people with disabilities or recovering from injuries.
Robin Sherrod, Fitness Instructor
Robin has had the pleasure of teaching fitness for over 20 years, 17 of them with the Walla Walla YMCA where she was the Director of Health and Fitness. She has specialty certifications in many areas such as Zumba, H20, Yoga and Pilates Barre. It is Robin’s goal to bring the joy of movement to everyone participating in her class. Everyone should feel challenged yet successful. Her enthusiastic nature will grab you and keep you coming back for more.
Stephen Kaleda, Yoga Instructor
Stephen took his first yoga class in May 1999 with the intention of finding a method of exercise that was enjoyable. What he got was a lesson, not only in physical exercise, but also in intention, self inspection and what it’s like to be in the absolute moment. The lesson has never ended. In 2003 Stephen completed his first yoga teacher training. He went to Palm Desert CA and started to teach and began to see the pure joy of the yoga practice in his students. With completing three more trainings in 2005, 2009, and 2014 Stephen has also developed and participated in teacher trainings, private classes and workshops. All of his classes are taught from the heart. Stephen’s classes can be challenging, humorous, and they are always filled with gratitude. His students have become his greatest teacher.
