Meet Our Instructors

Brenda Lasarzig, Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer
Brenda_LasarzigHaving a military background (US Coast Guard & Army) set the foundation for a life of active and healthy living, with an emphasis on strength and endurance obtained through discipline and consistency resulting in her certification as a Master Personal Trainer (Body Sculpt, Boot Camp, Circuit Training, Core Fusion, Nutrition, Peak 8, Pilates, TRX, Water Aerobics). An interest in stress reduction led to the World Yoga University and the Chopra Center, leading to teaching certifications in Ayurveda, Chanting, Meditation, Mudras, Tai Chi (Classical Ch’uan) and Yoga. She is especially skilled with people with disabilities or recovering from injuries.



Robin Sherrod, Fitness Instructor
Robin_SherrodRobin has had the pleasure of teaching fitness for over 20 years, 17 of them with the Walla Walla YMCA where she was the Director of Health and Fitness.  She has specialty certifications in many areas such as Zumba, H20, Yoga and Pilates Barre. It is Robin’s goal to bring the joy of movement to everyone participating in her class. Everyone should feel challenged yet successful.  Her enthusiastic nature will grab you and keep you coming back for more.



Stephen Kaleda, Yoga Instructor
Stephen took his first yoga class in May 1999 with the intention of finding a method of exercise that was enjoyable. What he got was a lesson, not only in physical exercise, but also in intention, self inspection and what it’s like to be in the absolute moment. The lesson has never ended. In 2003 Stephen completed his first yoga teacher training. He went to Palm Desert CA and started to teach and began to see the pure joy of the yoga practice in his students. With completing three more trainings in 2005, 2009, and 2014 Stephen has also developed and participated in teacher trainings, private classes and workshops. All of his classes are taught from the heart. Stephen’s classes can be challenging, humorous, and they are always filled with gratitude. His students have become his greatest teacher.
