THE WATERFALL AREA

FRANK CAPRA ROOM
For Frank Capra, who for many years resided at the resort, La Quinta was a source of inspiration. It was here he created such classics as “It Happened One Night,” “Lost Horizon,” and “Mr. Smith goes to Washington.” The Frank Capra Room is divisible into five separate areas and can accommodate banquets and receptions of almost any size.

LA CASA
A private home built in the 1920s, La Casa was a favorite of Greta Garbo who found it the perfect retreat when she “wanted to be alone.” This elegant hacienda with its paved courtyard offers a unique setting for both ceremonies and receptions.

SALON DE FIESTA
This 17,000 square foot “Room of Celebration” divides into 14 separate rooms and can accommodate groups as formal as 1,800 or as intimate as 40. Its huge mission bell adds to the early California ambiance.

SALON DE FLORES
The resort’s newest 16,000 square foot “Room of Flowers” divides into eight separate rooms. Hand-made copper chandeliers and wall sconces make this room soft and elegant. The ballroom has a generous reception area and convenient parking.

SPA BISTRO
Also called the Tennis Clubhouse, this building was built in the 1940s as the Olive Tree Estate. This clubhouse has one of the most magnificent views of the surrounding Santa Rosa Mountains, and one side opens to the beautiful Tennis Pool, where a fireplace and fountains add to the ambiance. It is a favorite for receptions and dinner parties.

SAN VICENTE
This suite opens onto an enchanting courtyard with water fountain allowing for private, alfresco events. This area is perfect for smaller groups, and is just steps away from your romantic ceremony location which provides panoramic views of the Santa Rosa Mountains. The San Vicente Suite is also adjacent to the Presidential Suite, allowing for a cluster of private rooms and courtyards, including the private pool and hot tub in the Presidential Suite.
